Welcome to KFA

KFA is a provider of first aid training courses for parents, childcare providers and the workplace. Our aim is to give you the skills to respond effectively and confidently in an emergency and to understand and recognise major and minor health needs. We cover the whole of the South West of England.

Classes are focused and fun whilst providing information in a simple format. KFA was set up by Katie Finn, (shown far right in image) a Paediatric Nurse with many years experience of working in Accident and Emergency settings. Katie also has specialist training in Paediatric Burns and Child Protection and is qualified to teach Adult Learners. She brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to every class she teaches.

Benefits of KFA First Aid Kits

These kits are designed to be used and taken with you. The stylish neoprene bag means you won’t want to leave them in the boot of the car or on top of the cupboard gathering dust. Whenever you have a mishap you will find just what you need close at hand.

Inside the bag is an itemised list of everything you will find in the kit and when and how to use it. This also helps easily identify which items you’ve used in an emergency and need to replace.
The neoprene bags are made in Cornwall and the kits have been endorsed by Devon Air Ambulance Trust. As a thank you we donate £2 to DAAT from every kit we sell. A very worthy cause – lets get them flying at night.

“Last year 9.2% of our airlifts were to children under the age of 16. Incidents varied greatly from medical emergencies including hospital transfers to accidents such as burns and falls. To have a specialist first aid kit in your bag or at your house can only be a good thing for minor and major situations.” Heléna Holt, Chief Executive of DAAT
